Ensenada and environs is a place full of activities enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. You will be pleasantly surprised to discover our wines, and wineries and our food. Not only fish tacos and ceviche, but the new Baja Med that is creating a revolution in flavors. Baja Wine and Sun Tours knows about the most interesting activities and events in and around Ensenada and invite you to share these unique experience with them.

Baja Wine and Sun Tours  organizes wine tours and tastings in the Valle de Guadalupe, whale watching tours from Ensenada to Guerrero Negro and nature tours to San Pedro Martir National Park, where the UNAM Observatory is located. Custom tours are also available – just ask!

Ours are generally small groups, from two to ten people, but  we can arrange transportation and tours for larger groups as well. It is important to note that some wineries do not allow visitors under 18 years old inside the tasting rooms, so please advise us if your group includes those 18 years olds or younger.

A Great Day in the Guadalupe Valley

My wife and I took a tour to the Valle de Guadalupe wineries a few weeks ago. Although we had some difficulties getting it set up, everything worked out well and we had a wonderful time. We started the tour at 3 Mujeres winery. Although we did not select the wineries on the tour, this is one we would have chosen. We saw it on Rick Bayless' PBS show on Mexican cooking. We were not disappointed. Ivette, one the the three women, was the most gracious. The wines were wonderful, very reasonably priced and the winery is quite attractive. We mentioned that we would like to get some Mexican olive oil so Alain took us to L.A. Cetto even though it was not on the list. The second winery we visited was Viñedos Malagon. It is probably not one that I would have picked but I am glad that we had a chance to visit. We were the only ones there so we were not rushed. We were served some very nice cheese and crackers together with some very liberal pours of very nice wines. Lastly, we went to Adobe Guadalupe. Once again, we were the only visitors. What a beautiful winery! After tasting their wines (which were quite good) we got a tour of the facility. In addition to being a winery, it is a very impressive bed and breakfast. We had a wonderful time. Alain is an excellent tour guide. He speaks English very well and is extremely knowledgable about the wineries in the valley. For someone coming from north of the border it is probably the best option for wine tasting in the Guadalupe Valley. Remember to bring cash, however. Some of the wineries do not take plastic and Baja Wine and Sun tours doesn't either.
